A P Robinson & Co "Under the Tree" Christmas Appeal

For the past three years, A P Robinson & Co have held their "Under the Tree" Christmas appeal during which we ask local businesses, clients and residents to donate presents to underprivileged children. Your response has been astounding and we have so far delivered your generous gifts to children of the Special Care Baby Unit and Children's Ward at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, as well as local charity When You Wish Upon a Star.

This year, our aim is to help both the children and women at the Women's Aid refuge enjoy a happier Christmas. The refuge is a safe house for women and children who are experiencing domestic abuse or have escaped from violence at home. Although Women's Aid does a wonderful job supporting the ladies, who often arrive at the shelter with nothing, they do not receive any funding to work directly with the children.

Please help A P Robinson & Co to contribute a little unexpected excitement to Christmas at the refuge by placing a gift under our tree. We hope to receive presents for boys and girls aged from babies to 15 years and also gifts for the mums and ladies.

We know you're busy with your own Christmas shopping, so if you would rather give a monetary donation, there will be a collection box in our reception area next to our gigantic Christmas tree.

During the first week in December our enormous real Christmas tree will arrive in our reception. It has plenty of room under its boughs for as many presents as you can bring so please help us spread some seasonal sparkle and smiles.

As a tide of New Year's Resolutions to lose weight flood in at the beginning of 2009, we are holding a FREE Healthy Eating Seminar and Networking Opportunity. We'll show you how to "Shed lbs but Gain £s".

A P Robinson & Co alongside local partnership firms, Utility Warehouse and Laser Red, will deliver a free seminar to educate and inform businesses of the huge potential for savings on utilities, company restructuring and Wealth Management, and the huge success that effective marketing can bring. We'll also give you a few easy and tasty recipes to follow to help you streamline your figure.

With refreshments on arrival at 10am, the short presentation will finish at 12pm and will be followed by a FREE healthy yet scrumptious hot buffet, as well as a full-fat option for those lucky enough not to suffer from weight gain.
