With their recent opening of a new practice in Scunthorpe, located on Queensway Business Park, the firm have restructured their management team.

Emma Stamp, who has been with the company for 11 years, was the first accountant to qualify within A P Robinson & Co back in 2001 and became a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2006.

Managing Partner Andrew Robinson comments; "Throughout her time here at A P Robinson & Co Emma has pushed herself in her academic and management career. She has been instrumental in implementing many forward-thinking schemes whilst balancing this demanding full time position around her two young children. She is undeniably a huge asset to the firm."

Emma has been short listed for 'SME Manager of the Year' at the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards 2008. The event will take place at the Grimsby Auditorium on June 20th.

A P Robinson & Co now has 6 members of staff who are fully qualified and all other members who are training for their professional exams.

Marketing Manager Lizzy Dale said; "There are very few firms in the area who have such a high proportion of qualified and experienced staff to advise clients about their businesses. We believe clients deserve the highest level of up to date business advice. Training is essential to provide clients with this level of professional expertise in order for them to grow profitably."

Recent exam success and the successful launch of the new office have spurred celebrations in the form of a charity fund raising weekend.

A P Robinson & Co supported the charity When You Wish Upon A Star by supporting the Star Ball at the Beachcomber in Humberston on Saturday 10th May, to raise money to grant the wishes of children suffering from terminal and incurable illnesses.  A P Robinson & Co also took part in the 'It's a Knockout' event at Grimsby Town Football Club to raise funds for St Andrews Children's Hospice.

Andrew continues, "I felt the firm needed an enjoyable weekend and I wanted to show my support for our clients' charities. So far we have had a hugely successful year and have taken positive steps to further the growth and productivity of the company. The combined efforts of all members of staff have contributed to this ongoing expansion into new markets."
